West Country auctioneers Charterhouse in Sherborne are visiting clients across Cornwall and Devon from Monday 9th to Wednesday 11th March advising on classic & vintage cars and motorcycles.
“Based in Sherborne, Dorset, we have been holding specialist auctions of classic cars and motorcycles for the past 20 years.” Commented Matthew. “During this time we have discovered vehicles in old barns, garages and even in people’s houses hallways which we have then sold successfully in our specialist vehicle auctions.”
Entered into their next classic car and motorcycle auction are some great lots. There are barn stored basket cases to concours classics. In the car auction there is a rare 1923 Chevrolet Roadster estimated at £8,000-10,000. Of a similar age, being a year older and also made in America, is a 1922 Indian Scout Hill Climb estimated at £20,000-22,000 in amongst British BSA’s, Triumphs, Norton’s and other motorcycles.
The next Charterhouse auction of classic and vintage cars is on Wednesday 8th April at The Royal Bath & West Showground. This is followed by classic and vintage motorcycles at The Haynes International Motor Museum, Somerset on Wednesday 6th May
